The two swinging sea horses seem like they are actually swimming in the small tank. This papercraft is perfect as a decoration. Why not display it in your room? Sea horses are saltwater fish that live in shallow seas in temperate and tropical zones. The size of the adult fish vary. Some are only 2 centimeters long while others turn into 20-centimeter fish. Unlike other fish, they maintain an upright posture. Nevertheless, on their curved necks, they have gills and pectoral fins just like other fish. They also have small dorsal fins on their backs. When swimming, they do so slowly by vibrating their pectoral and dorsal fins. However, they are usually found sitting still with their long tails wrapped around sea algae and coral.

They are also known as a unique type of fish since they change genders during the course of their lives. There are 28 species of anemone fish and the clown fish are one of them. They are small compared to the other species and have white stripes on their orange bodies (behind the eyes and on the body and tail). They also have the characteristic of black and white linings on their respective fins.

The cheetah is the fastest of all land animals, capable of running at speeds up to 75 miles per hour (120 kph). Cheetahs have slim bodies, long legs, long tails, and high shoulders. A cheetah cannot retract its claws, so they are always out to grip the earth like spikes on a runner’s shoes. The cheetah’s broad chest holds a large heart and lungs. All these different features of a cheetah’s body work together to help it run. Clearly, cheetahs were born to run fast. However, cheetahs can only maintain their top speed for a distance of about 1600 feet (500 meters), and in fact often fail to catch their prey.

The orangutan is a member of the ape family, and its name is derived from the Malay expression for “person of the forest.” Orangutans have long, reddish-brown hair and mainly live in forests, making their homes in the tops of tall trees. They live mainly on fruits such as figs and durian, but also eat leaves, tree bark, nuts, termites, and insects. While other apes make their habitats in Africa, the orangutan can only be found in Sumatra and Borneo in Southeast Asia. The orangutan is currently designated as an endangered species due to rapid depletion of Southeast Asian rainforests.

The Indian peafowl is the national bird of India, and can be found mainly in India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and other areas of south Asia. The male, known as the peacock, has large, brightly-colored feathers, which he displays to attract females (peahens) during courtship in spring. Peacock feathers are a beautiful iridescent blue, making them popular for use in artwork. Peafowl are also considered very useful birds to keep as they eat poisonous insects and snakes.
